I am hosting an October Meet n Greet for the Weekday Morning Roundtable Net. Please let our usual net controller (Jim @ W8STX) know if you think you would like to attend or if you would like to attend. You might also let him know if you would be available for the rain date.

WHEN:
  Weather permitting
     October 10, 2026 from 4pm to 7pm
  Rain date
     October 17 from 4pm to 7pm

We will be having a bonfire much like the similar event we hosted several years ago together with catered sandwiches and diet Coke-a-Cola. I would volunteer a variety of drinks but I don’t want to be left with a bunch of drink fragments to get rid of. Thus, I invite guests to bring their own favorite 2-liter soft drinks to share with the group.

Because the group is lagely unknown to each other except by radio communications, I respectully request that no alchol or beer be brought.

We have the entire property sprayed monthly for bug reduction. Nevertheless, please feel free to being your own bug spray.

For the physically challenged:
o – We have a Kawasaki Mule that will seat up to six adults. (shown below but less the doors)
o – If you can get to 10626 Coopersfield Rd. in Chelsea, we can therefore get you to the campfire site where we will be hosting the event back in the woods.
o – The large animals instinctively know who is physically challenged.

Who is invited:
o –  Amateurs frequenting the W8DUI Weekday Roundtable Net and their families.
  o –  Amateur Radio wannabes

Food:
o – I am catering the event using my local Chelsea Subway
o – It will be a bunch of sandwiches of different flavors and style breads.
  o – I will be providing Diet Coke-a-Cola drinks
o – Guests are invited to bring their favorite 2-liter soft drinks

Why should I bring my kids and grand kids?
o – We have large animals that they will be able to get up close
and next to. This will be mainly to brush them and love
       on them.
